“I genuinely believe we are at the perfect moment in the market for companies like durhamlane and the services you provide. Not just for the processes you have or the technology you use, but for the quality of your people.”

Putting customers and colleagues behind the steering wheel at accelreate24.
Last week was one for the record books. Our first team-wide conference. The largest attendance record for any durhamlane event. The most inspiring get-together to-date. And the worst karaoke in the Northeast.
But, before all that happened, it all began with an idea. A plan to distinguish durhamlane from the rest.
Since the pandemic, there’s been a sea of competitors ready to support customers with their outbound sales. Or so they claim. The reality is, very few sales agencies can place their hat on their leads being successful like we can. And this only happens because we never (ever) sit still.
But communicating evolution with an expanding remote and hybrid workforce has become ever-more challenging. An office memo simply doesn’t hit home like it used to. So, what do you do when you want everyone in the business to know where we are at, where we are heading, and how we are going to get there?
You go to Durham and turn a new chapter together.
Collective horsepower
In a state of constant advance, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. accelerate24 not only put the pedal to the metal… it gave us a chance to look in the rear-view mirror and reflect. Throughout the two days we heard from ex-employees, old and existing customers, and industry leaders. Each person offered their perspective of durhamlane, the opportunities of working in this space, and anecdotes of their time with us.
“durhamlane taught me some invaluable skills, including commercial and innovative thinking.”
Mike Allen, former durhamlane employee
Fast-tracking ideas
Our people, technology, processes and data are our biggest assets. The lifeblood of the business. accelerate24 gave everyone a voice on it all, and a chance to share a perspective that decision-makers simply wouldn’t have otherwise. During these sessions, we talked about empowerment, personal development, the power of having the right set up, and the insights that matter most to us and our customers.
Fuelled by fun
You didn’t think we would bring everyone to Durham and send them to bed early, right? After some downtime, we planned activities into the evening, with not a single awkward icebreaker in sight, but plenty of… cough… confidence (and ambition) behind the mic.
“The event was great. It really shows our exciting changes, including how we are going to work with our customers, for our customers success and for our people’s success.”
Charlotte Fernande, durhamlane employee
Our two lengths
By Friday morning, there were plenty of sore heads. Thankfully, guest speaker and gold medallist Chris Cook took the edge off with an inspiring walk down memory lane and a stark reminder that the best do less. No really, they do.
Chris’ story was a refreshing take on the traditional ‘to-do’ list and how powerful keeping focused on your goal, and the activities that move the needle closer, can be. It’s simple, but that doesn’t always make it easy!
What’s our two lengths, I hear you ask?
- If our customers are successful, we are successful.
- We put our SDRs and marketing executives at the centre of what we do.
“We really feel like you guys are super invested in our success. You understand our issues, you’re proactive, and really, we couldn’t ask more from the way you’re partnering with us.”
CFO, anonymous durhamlane customer
More on that to come, as we digest, process and put our leanings into practice!
