Discover what it means for B2B sales and marketing in EMEA.

The best sales outsourcing company in the UK depends on what you need. Unsurprisingly, durhamlane is my top choice for enterprise and mid-market businesses that need experienced SDRs to create and qualify pipeline for complex B2B sales. Other companies on this list specialise in technology sales, lead generation, international expansion, appointment setting, full-cycle sales or AI-led outbound. Work out which part of your B2B sales process needs help first, then compare providers who solve your specific problem.

Key takeaways

  • More than 30 providers currently appear in Clutch’s UK sales outsourcing category alone, and they offer very different services.
  • “Sales outsourcing” can mean lead generation, appointment setting, managed SDR services, full-cycle selling or AI-led outbound.
  • durhamlane is my top choice for complex enterprise and mid-market B2B sales development where qualification and human sales expertise matter.
  • Published UK market guides put outsourced SDR retainers broadly around £3,000–£12,000 per month, although managed enterprise programmes can cost more.
  • Performance fees can relate to meetings, accepted opportunities, pipeline or revenue. Make sure the provider gets rewarded for KPIs they can directly influence.
  • Independent reviews are important, but read what customers bought. A five-star review for sales intelligence software is different from a stellar review of an outsourced SDR team.

Run a search (or prompt LLMs) for the best sales outsourcing companies in the UK, and you will find plenty of lists. The problem is that many compare companies selling completely different things as though you could swap one for another.

You can’t.

A lead generation agency that runs email campaigns, a managed team of experienced SDRs, a pay-per-meeting appointment setter, and an AI sales agent all sit under the very broad heading of ‘sales outsourcing’, but they solve different problems and produce different outcomes.

So, before we get into the list, first decide what you need in an outsourcing solution.

Do you need more contacts? More meetings? Better inbound lead conversion? Qualified opportunities for your BDMs? A team to take the entire sales cycle through to close?

Get your goals clear first. Otherwise, you can spend a great deal of time comparing star ratings for services that have very little in common.

A quick disclosure. I co-founded durhamlane, and durhamlane appears first on this list. No great detective work required there. I’ve included companies we compete with because buyers should compare the market, and I’ve used publicly available information, independent reviews and published client results wherever possible. Where the independent evidence is limited, I’ve said so. The list is in no particular order.

There isn’t an official government count of sales outsourcing companies in the UK because sales outsourcing doesn’t have its own Standard Industrial Classification. Companies House has categories such as SIC 82200 for call centre activity, but sales outsourcing businesses can also fall within consultancy, business support, and other classifications.

Clutch gives us a good view of the specialist market. Its UK sales outsourcing directory currently lists more than 30 providers, with rankings updated in August 2026 (at the time of writing). Now, Clutch assesses providers using verified customer feedback, previous projects, service focus and market presence, but of course, it requires providers to sign up proactively, so we know there are far more than 30 sales outsourcing companies out there.

The wider outsourcing sector is even bigger. IBISWorld estimates that the UK business process outsourcing industry will generate around £75.4 billion in 2025-26.

The more interesting point is what Clutch’s list of specialists contains. Some companies focus heavily on sales outsourcing, while others combine it with call centre services, marketing, consulting or broader business process services. That is why I recommend sales leaders define the job before drawing up a supplier shortlist.

How I chose these sales outsourcing companies

The word ‘best’ is subjective. I’d extend it to ‘best fit’, meaning which of the following best fits your unique business, sales cycle, target market, and goals.

If you need…Look for
More contacts or prospect dataData or lead generation provider
More booked meetings*Appointment-setting company
Qualified B2B pipelineManaged SDR outsourcing
High-volume automated outreachAI SDR
Extra sellers within your businessSales recruitment/augmentation
Prospecting through to closeFull-service sales outsourcing

*Booked meetings are only useful when the buyers are both the right fit and sales-ready, with motivation to buy. Otherwise, a full calendar is a waste of time.

1. durhamlane – complex enterprise & mid-market B2B sales

Best for: Businesses with experienced closers that need more properly qualified opportunities.

Model: Managed human SDR teams supported by AI, data, technology, sales management and enablement.

UK status: UK-based with operations in EMEA and the US.

Independent evidence: durhamlane currently holds a 4.8/5 rating from 22 verified G2 reviews across its sales outsourcing and lead generation categories.

durhamlane owns the part of the sales process between finding the right target accounts and creating opportunities that internal sellers then progress to won business. This covers outbound sales development, inbound lead conversion, new customer acquisition, event sales support, and customer expansion

I believe we’re the strongest option on this list when the product or service is difficult to sell, the buying process involves several people, or the prospect needs a proper sales conversation to qualify an opportunity.

The evidence supports me saying that. For Siemens Healthineers, durhamlane generated 156 qualified opportunities and $42.5 million in pipeline, delivering a reported 2,559% ROI. For Belden, four SDRs generated 86 sales-qualified leads and £300,000 in estimated pipeline in ten months, while its internal account managers concentrated on solution selling.

Another example is ADLINK Technology, where one full-time durhamlane SDR supported six business units and generated 159 sales-qualified opportunities and more than $5 million in pipeline.

Our pricing combines a fixed managed-service element with performance fees linked to agreed qualified outcomes. Importantly, we don’t charge a success fee until the client’s own sales team accepts a meeting, based on the agreed criteria.

Consider another option if: you mainly want cheap contact data, fully automated email outreach, simple pay-per-appointment volume or an external company to own every commercial negotiation and close.

2. Reveneer – embedded outsourced inside sales

Best for: Businesses that want a dedicated external inside-sales operation.

Model: AI + data + human SDR teams embedded into the client’s sales operation.

UK status: US-based and international.

Full disclosure up front: Reveneer is an alliance partner to durhamlane.

They offer a fully managed inside-sales model that includes recruitment, technology, management, dashboards and dedicated SDRs. Reveneer One can launch an operation in around 45 days, with teams integrated into the client’s CRM.

Its model also goes further down the funnel than standard SDR outsourcing, with teams supporting demonstrations, proposals and closing where required.

Reveneer appears in G2’s outsourced sales, lead generation and sales consulting categories.

Consider Reveneer if: you want inside sales support and boots on the ground in the USA.

3. EngageTech – technology sales

Best for: Technology businesses selling into IT and technical buyers.

Model: Managed and outsourced SDR teams supported by proprietary data and AI.

UK status: UK-founded with international operations.

EngageTech combines outsourced SDR services with its own sales intelligence technology. It positions heavily around B2B technology and says its SDRs operate in complex technology markets, with AI handling areas such as account prioritisation, research and engagement signals.

Its Cloudar case study reports an average of five meetings booked per week and capacity savings equivalent to two full-time employees while supporting European expansion.

EngageTech also has a sizeable G2 footprint, currently around 4.5/5 from 60 reviews, although buyers should note that these reviews primarily relate to its sales intelligence technology rather than to its managed SDR service.

Consider EngageTech if: your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) sits heavily within technology and IT and you want a provider combining human SDRs with proprietary sales intelligence.

4. memoryBlue – outsourced SDR scale for cyber

Best for: Cyber technology businesses seeking additional outsourced SDR capacity.

Model: Managed sales development and inside sales.

UK status: International provider with a UK operation.

memoryBlue specialises in outsourced sales development for cyber technology companies and operates across several international markets. Its UK presence expanded further when it acquired London-based Operatix in 2023.

It has a substantial independent review footprint, which gives buyers more customer evidence to assess than is available for some providers on this list.

For cyber businesses comparing memoryBlue with other providers, I would look closely at the experience of the SDRs assigned to the account, how qualification works and how much continuity you will have within the team.

Consider memoryBlue if: you operate in the cyber space and need to scale outsourced SDR capacity across several markets.

5. Excelerate360 – broader technology sales outsourcing

Best for: B2B software and technology businesses wanting help across a larger part of the sales cycle.

Model: Lead generation, sales outsourcing and sales consultancy.

UK status: UK-based.

Excelerate360 describes its model as end-to-end sales services, supporting clients across the sales cycle. It specialises in B2B software and technology and works across the UK, Europe and North America.

Its sales roles reflect that broader scope, with inside-sales executives expected to create pipeline through email, phone and LinkedIn and then help drive opportunities towards close.

Independent evidence is smaller in volume than some companies here. Clutch currently shows five verified reviews for Excelerate360 and reports a minimum project size of $5,000+, with the bulk of reviewed engagements falling between $10,000 and $49,999.

Consider Excelerate360 if you sell B2B technology and need wider sales-cycle support rather than a dedicated top-of-funnel SDR model.

6. Punch! – account-based marketing & SDR

Best for: B2B businesses wanting an ABM agency with outbound sales development capability.

Model: Account-based marketing, multichannel outbound and SDR outsourcing.

UK status: UK-based.

Punch! takes a marketing-led approach to pipeline generation, combining account-based marketing and intent-led targeting with outsourced sales development. Its approach spans phone, email, LinkedIn and other outbound activity, with a particular focus on reaching selected accounts.

It publishes a range of named client results, although independent review evidence is more limited than for several other companies on this list.

Consider Punch! if: you want to combine marketing campaigns with an outsourced outbound sales team.

7. Sopro – email campaigns and online prospecting

Best for: Businesses that want online B2B prospecting and lead generation (mostly via email).

Model: Email and online prospecting for demand generation.

UK status: UK-based.

Sopro sits closer to lead generation than the more sales-led SDR models on this list. It offers email and multichannel online outreach for B2B prospecting.

One reason it deserves inclusion is the amount of independent customer feedback available. At the time of research, Trustpilot showed 4.5/5 across 236 reviews. Recent reviews include customers describing genuine replies, sound targeting and strong account management, although there are negative reviews in the mix as well, as you would expect with that volume.

Sopro also publishes more than 60 prospecting case studies across sectors and company sizes.

Consider Sopro if: you primarily need an online prospecting engine and are comfortable taking greater responsibility internally once prospects engage.

Note: For complex enterprise opportunities where the handover requires deeper discovery and qualification, compare this model carefully with a managed SDR structure.

8. Aexus – SaaS and tech market expansion

Best for: Technology and software companies entering new international markets.

Model: Local sales outsourcing, business development and market entry.

UK status: Headquartered in the Netherlands and serves UK/international markets.

Aexus focuses heavily on technology, SaaS, IT, telecoms and cloud businesses expanding into new regions. It provides local sales teams across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific and says it can typically get a new outsourced programme running in two to three weeks.

Clutch currently gives Aexus 4.7/5 from 11 reviews. The feedback isn’t uniformly flattering. Reviewers praise communication, flexibility and sales results, while Clutch also identifies lead accuracy and vetting as an area where some customers wanted improvement (that’s why reading the reviews beats simply noting the star rating).

Consider Aexus if: your main problem is establishing sales coverage in new technology markets, particularly across Europe.

9. Clarify – technology sales and ABM

Best for: Tech businesses looking for sales development and account-based marketing.

Model: Sales development, ABM and go-to-market services.

UK status: UK-based.

Clarify specialises in technology and combines outsourced sales development with account-based marketing and broader go-to-market support.

Their wider model may suit businesses that want sales and marketing activity in one place. If you are specifically looking for a managed SDR service, you should check exactly which resources and responsibilities sit within the sales programme.

Consider Clarify if: you are a technology business looking for outsourced sales development alongside ABM.

10. MarketStar – large-scale end-to-end sales outsourcing

Best for: Large enterprises that want external support across several stages of the revenue cycle.

Model: Sales-as-a-Service covering pipeline, direct sales, partners and customer success.

UK status: US-headquartered with global delivery.

MarketStar is spread wider than a dedicated outsourced SDR company. Its services cover lead generation, sales development, pipeline management, direct sales, partner ecosystem growth and customer success, making it one of the clearest full-service options in this comparison.

Though importantly, it isn’t a UK-headquartered company.

MarketStar features as a Leader in Everest Group’s 2025 Sales Services PEAK Matrix

Consider MarketStar if: you are a large organisation seeking a global partner across multiple revenue functions.

11. Neal Consulting – boutique outsourced business development

Best for: Businesses wanting a smaller, director-led sales and business development partner.

Model: Human-led outsourced sales and business development.

UK status: UK-based.

Neal Consulting is a more boutique option than several providers on this list. Its services cover outsourced B2B sales, prospecting, relationship building and market development.

One named example comes from EpiGuard, whose CEO credits Neal Consulting with helping the company develop opportunities and build its UK market.

However, there is much less independent third-party review data available than there is for companies such as Sopro, A-SALES or durhamlane. I would therefore put more emphasis on speaking to references and asking for comparable case studies during procurement.

Consider Neal Consulting if: you value a smaller, hands-on relationship for business development.

12. Virtual Sales Limited – phone-led B2B outreach

Best for: UK businesses that want phone-led prospecting and appointment setting.

Model: Telemarketing, appointment setting and sales outsourcing.

UK status: UK-based.

Virtual Sales Limited focuses on telephone-led B2B prospecting, lead generation and appointment setting. It also has a decent volume of independent customer reviews compared with many smaller UK providers.

Its model sits closer to phone-led prospecting and meeting generation than complex managed SDR outsourcing, so buyers should check how much qualification happens before a meeting reaches the internal sales team.

Consider Virtual Sales Limited if: phone outreach and appointment generation are the main gaps in your sales process, with lower qualification standards.

13. SalesAR – multichannel lead generation

Best for: Businesses looking to increase outbound activity across several channels.

Model: Lead generation, multichannel outreach and sales support.

UK status: International provider with UK market presence.

SalesAR provides B2B lead generation and outbound activity across channels including email and LinkedIn, alongside appointment setting and account-based activity.

It has a substantial independent review footprint, although its service mix is broader than dedicated managed SDR outsourcing.

Consider SalesAR if: your priority is increasing multichannel outbound activity and generating more sales conversations.

14. Belkins – B2B appointment setting

Best for: Businesses looking primarily for outbound lead generation and booked sales meetings.

Model: Lead generation, email outreach and appointment setting.

UK status: International provider serving UK businesses.

Belkins is an established B2B outbound provider focused on lead generation and appointment setting, with significant visibility across independent agency and sales-service directories.

Its model centres on creating outbound engagement and meetings, so businesses with complex sales cycles should establish how far qualification goes before an appointment reaches an internal seller.

Consider Belkins if: you mainly need additional outbound prospecting and appointment-setting capacity.

15. A-SALES AB – performance-led appointment generation

Best for: Businesses that want qualified meetings with a strong pay-for-performance element.

Model: Lead generation, qualification and appointment setting.

UK status: European provider with a London presence.

A-SALES stands out for both its commercial model and its review footprint.

Clutch currently rates it 4.9/5 from 83 verified reviews, with 80% of its listed service focus attributed to sales outsourcing. Half of the reviewed client base sits in the mid-market category.

Its own published pricing model says packages can run on a pay-for-performance basis with no retainer or hourly fee, where customers pay when qualified meetings are booked. This could be attractive when meeting generation is your desired outcome.

The usual warning applies to any ‘pay-for-performance’ model: strictly define “qualified” in writing. Otherwise, the commercial incentive can skew towards filling the diary by any means necessary.

Consider A-SALES if: you want a performance-led appointment-setting model and have a clear ICP and qualification standard.

16. Artisan – AI-led outbound automation

Best for: Businesses looking to automate outbound activity at scale.

Model: AI SDR software.

UK status: US-based software available internationally.

Artisan is the odd one out here, deliberately. It isn’t a managed team of human salespeople. Artisan’s AI BDR automates activities such as prospect research, outbound email creation, sequencing and meeting generation.

That means the comparison with durhamlane, EngageTech or Reveneer isn’t like-for-like. However, buyers increasingly encounter AI SDRs while researching how to outsource sales development, so leaving them out would ignore where the market is going.

AI-led sales tools now cover increasingly sophisticated parts of the prospecting process, from research and data enrichment to automated engagement and meeting scheduling.

G2 currently shows Artisan at around 4/5 from roughly two dozen reviews. Reviews praise automation and campaign setup, while recurring criticisms include inaccuracies and functionality limitations.

Consider Artisan if: you primarily want scalable automated online outbound campaigns.

Important note: If you sell a complex enterprise product where qualification depends on asking good questions, responding to objections, and understanding what is happening inside the buyer’s organisation, AI software and an experienced SDR solve different problems.

Then there’s the risk and compliance factor. Fully automated outbound can become difficult to deploy legally across multiple markets, particularly when personal data, unsolicited electronic communications or automated calling are involved. Across Europe, GDPR sits alongside country-specific electronic marketing laws, meaning the rules around cold outreach vary by market, recipient and channel; in some circumstances, consent is required before you can contact an individual. Even in the UK, where B2B email to corporate subscribers can often be sent without prior consent, businesses still need to comply with data protection requirements and provide a clear way to opt out.

In the US, the FCC has confirmed that AI-generated voice calls fall within the TCPA’s restrictions on artificial or prerecorded voices, and telemarketing calls using them generally require prior express written consent.

There isn’t a reliable industry-wide average for UK sales outsourcing because the services grouped under the term vary too much. Clutch’s UK sales outsourcing data shows reviewed projects ranging from below $10,000 to well over $50,000, which reflects the difference between short lead-generation campaigns and larger managed outsourcing engagements.

At durhamlane, a fully managed SDR programme typically sits around £8,400–£40,000 per month, depending on complexity and requirements.

Also, consider that different types of sales solutions will have different pricing models.

ServiceCommon pricing model
Lead generationMonthly campaign fee or per lead
Appointment settingRetainer or pay per meeting
AI SDRSoftware subscription
Managed SDR outsourcingMonthly managed fee, with performance linked to highly qualified meetings
Full-cycle outsourcingRetainer plus variable/performance fees

And if you’re comparing the cost of outsourcing versus building an in-house team, it isn’t a case of monthly supplier fee versus somebody’s salary. Be sure to include recruitment, management time, data, sales tech, coaching, ramp time and attrition, too.

The main models are fairly straightforward.

Pay per lead (data): You pay when the provider delivers a contact or lead agreed criteria.

Pay per meeting (booked): Payment triggers when a meeting is created.

Pay per accepted opportunity (post-meeting confirmation that it meets the criteria): The client validates that the meeting or opportunity meets an agreed qualification standard before a success fee applies.

Retainer plus performance: A fixed fee pays for the team, management and infrastructure, while a variable element rewards agreed results.

Commission or revenue share: Payment relates to closed business.

The further the provider controls the sales cycle, the more reasonable it becomes to link payment to revenue.

If an SDR partner controls targeting, prospecting and qualification while your internal team controls discovery, pricing, proposals, procurement and closing, holding the SDR provider entirely accountable for closed revenue creates an obvious problem.

At durhamlane, we use a fixed managed-service fee alongside a performance component linked to qualified meetings that meet agreed criteria. We only charge the success element once the client’s sales team accepts the meeting.

Whatever model you choose, ask what behaviour the pricing structure rewards. People tend to get very good at delivering the thing you pay them for.

Full-service sales outsourcing can extend across:

Market research → targeting → prospecting → qualification → discovery → proposal → negotiation → close → account growth

Very few providers own every stage for every client. MarketStar is the clearest large-scale end-to-end model on this list, while Excelerate360 also works further through the sales process.

durhamlane generally sits earlier. We create and qualify opportunities, then work alongside internal sales teams who handle the detailed commercial negotiation and closing. We find this model works well when your BD team is already good at closing and simply doesn’t have enough quality pipeline.

Any provider contacting prospects on your behalf can create compliance and reputational risk.

The Independent Commissioner’s Office confirms that UK GDPR applies to B2B marketing where personal data is involved, while PECR contains specific rules for channels including phone and email. Businesses must also respect objections to marketing, and the rules vary depending on who you contact and which channel you use.

Look for ISO certification, and ask any potential providers you shortlist the following questions:

  • Where does your prospect data come from?
  • What lawful basis do you rely on when processing personal data?
  • How do you manage opt-outs and suppression lists?
  • How do you screen telephone outreach where required?
  • Who owns and controls the data?
  • What happens to prospect data when our contract ends?
  • Who owns any domains and mailboxes created for outreach?
  • How do you handle data breaches or access requests?

One point often missed: outsourcing the activity doesn’t necessarily outsource your responsibility. If you ask another organisation to send electronic marketing for you, both the sender and the organisation instigating the campaign can carry responsibilities under PECR.

Before you sign a contract, you should feel confident that your chosen partner is compliant.

There isn’t one provider that makes sense for every sales model. Sopro is geared towards email campaigns for prospecting, Artisan automates high-volume outbound, Aexus specialises in technology market expansion, and MarketStar can take responsibility across a much broader sales cycle.

If you’re an enterprise or mid-market B2B organisation with experienced closers and your problem is creating enough properly qualified pipeline, durhamlane is the partner to choose.

I would say that, of course, but it’s also the part of the sales process we’ve spent years building our people, methodology, technology and management model around, with measurable results across organisations including PwC, KPN, Konica Minolta, Hexagon, Fluke Corporate, Intertrust and Omron Healthcare (to name a few!).

Book a meeting with durhamlane to discuss your sales challenges today.

What are the best sales outsourcing companies in the UK for B2B?

The best provider depends on the service you need. durhamlane is best suited to complex enterprise and mid-market SDR outsourcing, EngageTech to technology SDR services, Sopro to email campaigns and online prospecting, Aexus to tech market expansion, A-SALES to performance-led appointment setting, Artisan to AI-led outbound, and MarketStar to large-scale full-cycle sales outsourcing.

How many sales outsourcing companies are there in the UK?

There is no official government count because sales outsourcing doesn’t have a dedicated UK SIC code. Independent reviews platform Clutch currently lists more than 30 providers in its dedicated UK sales outsourcing category, which gives a useful indication of the specialist market but doesn’t represent every company operating in the UK.

What are typical costs for UK sales outsourcing services?

There is no reliable UK-wide average because sales outsourcing covers everything from lead generation and appointment setting to managed SDR teams and full-cycle sales. Across sales outsourcing projects reviewed by Clutch, $10,000–$49,000 is the most common total project-cost band, although UK engagements range from below £10,000 to well above £50,000 depending on the scope. For managed SDR outsourcing specifically, durhamlane’s fully managed SDR service runs around £8,600–£40,000 per month depending on complexity and requirements.

How do I choose a sales outsourcing partner in the UK?

Start by identifying which part of your sales process needs help and define the required outcome. Then compare providers on experience with similar sales cycles, qualification standards, named client results, independent reviews, SDR quality, technology, compliance, contract terms and pricing model.

Which UK sales outsourcing agencies work with tech and SaaS businesses?

durhamlane, EngageTech, Excelerate360 and Aexus all have clear technology-sector propositions. The right choice depends on whether you need complex enterprise sales development, IT-focused SDRs, broader sales outsourcing or international market entry.

How do UK sales outsourcing companies structure performance fees?

Common models include pay per meeting, pay per qualified opportunity, commission, fixed retainers and hybrids combining a base fee with performance payments. The best structure links payment to an outcome the provider has enough control to influence.

Can I outsource my full sales cycle?

Yes. Full-service providers can manage prospecting, qualification, discovery, proposals, negotiation, closing and sometimes customer growth. Before outsourcing the whole cycle, check whether every stage actually needs external support. If your closers already perform well, outsourcing pipeline creation alone may solve the problem with less disruption.
